Rembering
The stroke of a paintbrush moves swiftly across a blank canvas. Will this piece of art be his greatest? Yellow here, blue there. What is this swirl of colors suppose to mean? Is it a portrait of an artistic lady? No, it is this young man's life story. The brush begins to move with more ferver making beads of sweat run down his forehead... Uncle, brother, or son please remember that there is more than just one who misses you. Yes we have many photographs, but thats not how I choose to remeber you. I remeber you by your masterpieces to fall to pieces. I see how precise and clear your artwork is but, I have to double check and think " Is this beatiful piece of art actually his?" Yes, yes it is. Even though you are no longer with us you will always hold that paintbrush that will forever control the colors of our hearts. We love and miss you Sherman L. Kirkland Jr.
